Hyperacidity causes imbalance between digestive secretions and causes heart burn, chest pain, nausea and other symptoms. It is a common problem which affects almost everyone. It is not so serious unless you experience extreme symptoms. Those who suffer frequent hyper acidity may refer to have an “acid stomach”. Eating spicy foods such as pickles, acidic or oily substance with lot of acid content, lack of exercise, stress, or drinking alcohol are main causes of hyper acidity. • Basil Leaves: You get instant relief from basil leaves. You can either chew them or prepare a decoction out of three to four leaves. Basil or tulsi leaves are also considered sacred in India and have many medicinal properties.

•Cinnamon is good for your digestive health as it is considered as a natural antacid. It also helps to dispel stomach gases. Cinnamon has lot of health benefits for heart. Cinnamon tea helps to reduce abdominal fat and aids in weight loss.

• Buttermilk: Buttermilk is considered as best antacid that normalizes acids in the stomach. It contains lactic acid which is mainly responsible for normalizing stomach acidity.
